Villa Azaya is a contemporary five-bedroom private rental villa, located just fifty metres from the beach in the Petitenget/Seminyak neighborhood on Bali’s southwest coast. Just over half an acre in size, the shingle-roof property comprises a large two-storey building complemented by an expansive two-bedroom guesthouse, a stand-alone gym, along with a 20-metre swimming pool and poolside gazebo all well integrated into an extensive garden and large flat lawn which makes the villa ideal for functions. This luxury villa is the ideal choice for families and couples who wish to be close to the beach, and many shopping and dining options the area has to offer.

Accommodation

The contemporary-styled villa consist of five air-conditioned bedrooms that each feature ensuite bathrooms.
The villa also boasts a living room, dining room, feature kitchen, and guest office/library, while the guest house incorporates its own living & dining room complete with a small kitchen.
Ipods have been installed in every living area, and a Bose 321 home entertainment system provides sound in the living room, dining room and pool bar. WiFi internet access is available throughout the property.

Master Bedroom

The two, sizeable, master bedrooms are located on the upper floor of the main building. Each is air-conditioned and feature a teakwood floor, a dressing area and an ensuite bathroom; they both are complemented by a rooftop terrace with a lovely view of the garden, the neighbouring fields and a glimpse of the ocean.
Both master bedrooms are furnished with a California king-size bed, one of which is a Ziplock bed that can be converted into twin beds. Each room also presents teak wardrobes, shelf units, a desk, an upholstered daybed and a 32” satellite TV. Sliding doors lead from these master bedrooms into their respective ensuite bathrooms.
The spacious master bathrooms are fitted with a bathtub with handheld shower, a double vanity unit with a large wall mirror and twin washbasins, and a toilet. One of the master bathrooms has the additional facility of a walk-in shower, complete with a glass door and a built-in seat.

Guest Room

There is a small air-conditioned guestroom on the ground floor complete with double bed, teak wardrobes, a built-in desk, lamps and artwork.
It’s ensuite bathroom features a slate tiled floor and walls, a large walk-in rainshower, vanity unit with mirror and washbasin, toilet, and shelves for storage.

Guest House

The self-contained guest house offers independence and privacy; it is quite separate from the main building and accessed by a wooden bridge over an ornamental pond. This single-storey building incorporates two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, and a centrally positioned, open-sided, living & dining area complete with a small kitchen.
The living space is furnished with segmented sofas and a glass-topped coffee table, and equipped with a satellite TV/DVD player, Nintendo Wii game system and an iPod dock. There is also a dining table for six.
The kitchen is fitted with a two-burner gas hob, a refrigerator and cupboards. Of the two bedrooms, one is furnished with a king size bed, and the other with a king size Ziplock bed that can be converted to twin beds offering guests maximum flexibility in terms of sleeping arrangements.
Furnishings also include wardrobes and desks, and 26” wall-mounted TVs. Each bedroom features a tiled floor, soaring roof and glass doors on two sides, which open directly into the garden. Each is complemented by an ensuite bathroom with an open-air shower, a bathtub, and a vanity unit with washbasin and mirror.

Dining Room with ensuite Kitchen

The large air-conditioned dining room is furnished with a table that seats twelve and also features a ceiling fan, mood lighting and sliding doors, which open onto the pool terrace. More doors on the opposite side can be opened to allow for cross ventilation and access into a walled garden area, bordered by a pond with bulrushes and lilies.
At the far end of the dining room is an open-plan, fully equipped, feature kitchen with a marble work top, a central island, stylish white cupboards complimenting the stainless steel appliances. There is also a extensive service kitchen hidden away behind the main kitchen.

The guest office & library is located on the upper floor landing of the main building. This cool breezy space is comfortably furnished with sofas, chairs, an ottoman and a coffee table. It is decorated with local artwork and equipped with a computer and fax printer.

Gazebo

There is large open-sided ‘bale’ pavilion in the garden, with a raised wooden floor and a high roof, rattan sofas and a dining table for eight. It is cooled by natural breezes and two ceiling fans.

Pool and Garden

The extensive walled garden is stunningly landscaped around the 20 x 5 metre swimming pool, which is ideal for swimming laps. The flat green lawns are punctuated by palms, fragrant frangipanis, and other flowering trees.
A wide timber deck, furnished with sun-loungers and umbrellas, borders the infinity edge pool, which is lined with rustic Java stone. Every guest need has been considered with the provision of a pool bar, a pool shower and a guest washroom and toilet. There is even a surf board for guest use.

Gym

The air-conditioned gym is a single-storey stand-alone building, located close to the swimming pool. It has a mirrored wall, sliding glass doors and is fully equipped with a treadmill, upright exercise bike, an Indoor rowing machine, multigym, free weights, adjustable bench, stretching and yoga mats and an exercise ball. There is also mini fridge and an iPod dock.

Food and Beverages

Azaya boasts a dining service with a wonderful array of international dishes. Many Western meals are available, but we recommend you to try some of the local Balinese dishes for a unique cultural experience!
Dinner parties and small functions can all catered within the villa for group of maximum 12 guests – please ask the chef or manager for more details at any time of the day, whether you are requesting breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks. Additional fees apply for larger gatherings. Please ensure to bring to the attention of the reservations staff if you wish to host a large function at the villa.

Food and beverage items are charged based on grocery cost system. Guests will need to provide some money in advance and the staff will do the shopping for you and keep the receipts for your reference.

Should you have a request for a dish not on the menu, or a special dietary requirement, please feel free to ask the chef, who will strive to comply with all of your wishes.

Large Dining Groups
While the villa has large food preparation areas, it is not a restaurant and cannot support each individual guest ordering different foods for same dining periods. If you have a large group it is advisable that the group dines on the same dish or that you order several dishes to be shared. Please allow at least one day’s notice, and feel free to discuss any requirements with the chef or villa manager.

Location

Villa Azaya is located in the heart of Petitenget, a safe upmarket area on Bali’s south-western coast, which is home to some of the classiest properties on the island. This region is the most visited part of the island for both tourism and business purposes.
Tucked away down a quiet private lane, the villa is just 50 metres from the beach yet close to the prestigious Oberoi and Legian Hotels, and convenient for all of Bali’s main shops, malls and tourist attractions, in addition to a plenitude of sumptuous spas, chic lounges and vibrant nightspots. Furthermore, the villa is only 25 minutes' drive from the international airport.

The sweeping Petitenget Beach is well-known for its world-class surf breaks, panoramic coastline views and picture-perfect sunsets. A wide choice of internationally-acclaimed fine dining restaurants, including the famous KudeTa, Hu’u, Living Room, La Lucciola, and Sarong, are within walking distance, and the area also boasts a growing number of designer boutiques.
Nearby places of interest include one of Bali’s most sacred Hindu temples, Pura Petitenget, the fourth largest temple in Bali, where some of the most spectacular Balinese ceremonies may often be witnessed.

The location of Villa Azaya offers easy access up to the mountains and rice terraces on the western slopes; it is 80 minutes from the famous cultural and artistic town of Ubud, and just five minutes’ from the start of the Sunset Route, gateway to the eastern side of the island. The nearby ‘Nirwana Bali Golf Course’ was designed by Greg Norman, and voted the number 1 golf course in Asia; it is situated beside the dramatic, waved-lashed sea temple of Tanah Lot. For horse lovers, the ‘Umalas Equestrian Centre’ is just a few kilometres away to the north.
